Mike Discusses Chronic Disease on Bloomberg TV

Mike was interviewed about the Milken Institute’s groundbreaking study, An Unhealthy America: The Economic Burden of Chronic Disease, which found that the current annual cost of chronic-disease treatment, combined with the indirect impact of poor health on productivity, is more than $1 trillion. The report estimates that by mid-century, U.S. GDP could be nearly $6 trillion higher if we implement moderate lifestyle programs now than it would be if we continue on the present course.
