Oakland A's Manager Art Howe and Hall of Fame Dodgers' Manager Tommy Lasorda joined Mike in the fight against prostate cancer during the Prostate Cancer Foundation's 2002 Home Run Challenge. Each year, Major League Baseball, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and fans nationwide raise money to fund prostate cancer research based on home runs hit in 60 ballgames during the week culminating on Father's Day. In 2002, the Home Run Challenge raised more than $4 million.
