In March, Mike met with (l-r) former Senator Timothy E. Wirth, president of the United Nations Foundation, Dan Janzen, University of Pennsylvania biology professor, and William Weeks, executive vice president of the Nature Conservancy, as part of a day-long conference focusing on the creation of financial solutions to environmental problems. Janzen, who is also a technical advisor for the Area de Conservación Guanacaste in Costa Rica, was the model for a character in the movie, "Medicine Man" starring Sean Connery.
