At the Milken Institute’s first South Africa Symposium, Mike was joined by fellow Giving Pledge member Patrice Motsepe, Tawana Kupe, vice-chancellor of the University of Pretoria, and Lana Marks, U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa. The two-day conference was designed to explore the opportunities for doing business and investing in South Africa and the wider continent and to address health care challenges.
