At the 8th annual Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) Scientific Retreat, Mike discussed accelerating cancer research with Jonathan Simons (left), president and CEO of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, and Leon Black (right), co-founder of the Melanoma Research Alliance, board member of FasterCures and founder of Apollo Global Management. The MRA is the largest private funder of melanoma research. Since its founding in 2007, it has committed more than $79 million in funding to advance an understanding of this disease, and during which time the FDA has approved 11 new therapies to treat melanoma.
