Young Investigator Awards in medical research worldwide since 2007. Mike, pictured with Weill Cornell Medical College researcher Scott Tagawa and his wife, Suchie, often says that the best return on medical research funding comes from young researchers who are often open to novel approaches to treating disease. Over a 30-month period beginning in 2010, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration approved five treatments for advanced prostate cancer - each of which has been advanced by researchers and institutions funded by the PCF.
