Mike was joined by Eric Cantor, Majority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, and Dr. Owen Witte, Director of the Broad Stem Cell Research Center at UCLA, outside the California NanoSystems Institute. During a 2012 tour of the Institute, which Mike arranged for Congressman Cantor, they saw a demonstration of one of the world’s most powerful electron microscopes and discussed its applications in advancing medical research.
