Dr. Jeffrey Miller, Chair of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics at UCLA describes a "bio-photonic laser assisted cell surgery tool" used in stem cell research to Mike and Eric Cantor, Majority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives. Mike had asked the Congressman to join him for a tour of UCLA's Broad Center of Regenerative Medicine & Stem Cell Research in late 2012 so he could better appreciate the extensive research capabilities of the Los Angeles university.
