President Bill Clinton praised the Milken Insititute Global Conference as a place where leaders with differing points of view can share ideas and seek solutions. After meeting with Mike and Quincy Jones, the president spoke for 30 minutes on the sovereign debt crisis in Europe, his experiences negotiating with world leaders, and the need for Americans of both political parties to be "communitarians" in seeking solutions to challenges.
