Mike was awarded his second honorary doctorate in two years when he delivered the commencement speech at the 2008 graduation of more than 400 students of medicine and allied professions at the Drexel University College of Medicine, the largest private medical school in the United States. Speaking at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia, Mike noted the importance of building human capital by accelerating medical solutions and, quoting President Theodore Roosevelt, told the graduates that "the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing." |
