Mike talks with a young student at the Frank Lamping Elementary School in Henderson, Nevada, just moments before announcing that 5th-grade science teacher Stephanie Steckler was a winner of a 2006 Educator Award from the Milken Family Foundation. Steckler is the site director for the William McColl Science Center at Lamping Elementary, where she has created innovative programs including the Air-to-Space Museum, a Paleontology Area and a Tri-Desert Garden.
