Mike identified the challenge of improving America's educational competitiveness in science and math as crucial to the continued development of solutions to serious diseases at the annual meeting of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists (SGO) in March 2006. In a wide-ranging presentation, Mike also spoke of the importance of human capital and how improving technology is making the world more competitive for medical research.
