Mike congratulates 2005 Milken Scholar Kimberly DeRose, one of 11 new recipients of a Milken Scholars award. DeRose earned bachelors' degrees in physics and astronomy/astrophysics at Harvard University. In high school, she has already worked with NASA on a Mars planetary mission and interned with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). The Milken Family Foundation has honored hundreds of outstanding graduating high school students with a commitment for four years of financial assistance, career-related counseling and internships and opportunities for volunteerism.
