Mike congratulates philanthropist and businessman Carl Lindner at a May dinner honoring the owner of the Cincinnati Reds for his many years of support for State of Israel bonds. Lindner, who is also founder, chairman and CEO of American Financial Group, Inc., has contributed hundreds of millions of dollars to more than 1,000 charitable organizations, and is the largest non-Jewish supporter of State of Israel bonds. Mike, who helped expand Lindner's business in the 1970s, was similarly honored in 1996 at a State of Israel Bonds National Tribute Dinner.
